We are excited to share that our group has relocated to the Medical Faculty of Universität Duisburg-Essen, where our PI Dominic Winter has recently been appointed Full Professor for Oncological Proteometabolomics and awarded a prestigious DFG Heisenberg Professorship. The lab is now part of the Department of Metabolism, Senescence and Autophagy within the Research Center One Health Ruhr. After 13 years at the University of Bonn, this move opens new opportunities, excellent research conditions, and strong collaborations within the University Alliance Ruhr. Our lab has now settled into its new space and will continue investigating lysosomes using mass spectrometry–based proteomics, expanding our current projects and exploring new research directions.
